Choosing the Right Neighborhood

Your neighborhood can have a big impact on your lifestyle. Here is a list of several things you may want to consider when choosing a neighborhood for you and your family. I recommend investigating these things before you begin to look at homes.

  1. Check out the school district.
  2. Find out if the neighborhood is safe.
  3. Commuting to and from work and your favorite places.
  4. Determine if the neighborhood is economically stable.
  5. Home Owner’s Association rules.
  6. Airport Flight Paths and Related Noise.
  7. Environmental Concerns.
  8. Make personal observations.

Over the next several days I will follow up with additional posts and go into more detail on each one of these areas.
